We measure, check the subfloor, and help you choose between plank, tile, sheet and cork.

You get the price in writing before anything starts, and the job finishes at that price.
Preparation
Low spots are levelled and the subfloor is made smooth, with underlay to the product's and building's requirements.
Installation
Planks and tiles are laid out for even ends and a natural pattern, and trimmed cleanly at every wall and doorway.
Clean handover
We leave the space clean and walk through the finished floor with you.

Is luxury vinyl plank waterproof?
Many luxury vinyl plank products are sold as waterproof or water-resistant: the planks themselves are not damaged by spills or damp mopping. Water can still get underneath at the edges and seams in a flood, so LVP is a great choice for kitchens, laundry rooms and basements, but it is not a replacement for fixing a leak.
Can vinyl plank go in a basement?
Yes. Luxury vinyl plank is one of the most popular basement floors because it handles the moisture that comes up through concrete better than wood-based floors. The slab needs to be flat and dry first, so we check it and level low spots before installing.
What is the difference between luxury vinyl plank and laminate?
Both can look like wood, but laminate has a core made from wood fibre, which can swell if it gets wet. Luxury vinyl plank has a vinyl or composite core that holds up to water much better, which makes it the safer choice for kitchens, bathrooms and basements.
Can I put vinyl flooring in my condo?
Usually, yes. Many condominium buildings require an acoustic underlay with a minimum sound rating under hard flooring, including vinyl. Check your building's rules and we will install to that specification.
How much does vinyl flooring installation cost in Ottawa?
It depends on the product (plank, tile or sheet), the area, the underlay, how much levelling the subfloor needs, and whether existing flooring has to be removed. We give a free written quote after a site visit.
