Large tile and hundreds of showers leave no room for shortcuts. Every suite has to match the first one.
A 24″ × 48″ tile shows any dip in the floor underneath and any height difference between neighbouring tiles. Floors are brought flat first and tile is set with a levelling system, so the edges stay flush from suite to suite.
Every shower is built on the Schluter-KERDI system: a waterproof membrane bonded to the walls and floor, with overlapped seams and sealed drain and valve connections, so water stays in the shower and out of the building.
With 288 units, the same layout, cuts and finish have to repeat hundreds of times. Our teams work suite by suite to one standard, which is what multi-unit builders and owners rely on.
